India made a record 2.62 billion defence export . China and West were shaken!

 Hello and I welcome you all at Global affairs. Recently India made a new record, China America and Europe Were shaken by it! Defence Minister of India Rajnath Singh has informed on X that India's Defence exports have reached unprecedented highest and have crossed the mark of Rs 21000 crore for the first time in the history of independent India! India has sent defence items to 84 countries in its Exports, Rasiya and Israel are also included in these.

India's Defence exports have increased to Rs 21083 crore in the financial year 2023-24, an impressive growth of 32.5% compared to the previous financial year.

If we talk in Dollars, than India has exported defence items worth about 2.62 billion dollars.

How did the 'make in India' project affect India's Defence Exports?

Make in India project was launched in September 2014 and make in India defence comes under this but when this project was initially started, people had spiculated that make in India defence would not be successful many problems were being expressed behind it the main ones being lake of infrastructure lake of funds, and lake of privatization, Government companies   use to work in a slow process and for the last 50 years the private sector had not received the boost it needed. 

But by 2024 'make in India defence' showed incredible growth under 'make in India'. and India's Defence export increased incredibly.

And now India has set a difference export target of 35000 crores by 2024-25. Almost 4 billion dollars.

Can India overtake China in defence Exports?

According to which India's Defence exports are increasing rapidly it is expected that India will soon overtake China in the matter of Defence exports because sinus defence exports have been declining rapidly for sometime.

Due to this China's defence exports remained only 3.02 billion dollars. The most important reason behind this the quality of China's defence items is very poor due to which the countries buying this items have to face a lots of problems.

One of the main reason for this is that India's Defence exports is very diversified in this V Exports defence items to many countries but in the case of China it does not have their too much freedom because China main export is available only to Pakistan. Due to Pakistan poore economy it is not able to provide much benefit to China.

Overall this is a great news for India and we should celebrate this news.
