IndiGo has placed an order to buy 30 Airbus A350-900 aircraft

Hello and I welcome you all at Global affairs recently There has been a lot of activity in India's aviation industry InterGlobe Aviation Limited i.e. IndiGo has placed an order to buy 30 Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Through this, budget airline IndiGo will enter the wide-body aircraft segment. The planes will get ultra-modern Rolls Royce Trent XWB engines, which will make their flight very smooth and helpful in long-distance flights. IndiGo hopes that the delivery of these wide-body aircraft will start from 2027, so that it will add them to its flight fleet as soon as possible.

 IndiGo has also signed for the right to purchase 70 additional A350 aircraft. The new aircraft will allow the airline to operate ultra-long-distance flights, bringing it into direct competition with Air India.  Because ever since Air India has been bought by Tata Group, it has been seen that Indigo is facing a lot of competition in domestic and international flights, although Indigo has the highest market share of 60% in India, which wants to double its capacity by the year 2030 and expand its network internationally. This airline covers 81 domestic destinations and 32 international destinations. From which it is clear that Indigo is the largest flight operating company in India recently, which serves the most number of destinations,

 but it is facing very strong competition from Air India because ever since Air India has been privatized, there has been a continuous growth in the performance of Air India and it should not be forgotten that Air India also has access to a lot of international destinations around the world.

If you talk about this aircraft, It can fly farther than any other aircraft in commercial service - and the range of this aircraft is simply amazing. Its track record is stellar and many aviation companies use these aircraft for very heavy distances, up to 9,700nm. With a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of 280 tonnes, the A350-900ULR can fly for over 20 hours non-stop, combining the highest levels of passenger and crew comfort with unbeatable economics for such distances. All these features make it one of the best aircraft in the world
