Netanyahu: 'date set for Rafah attack', US on high alert, Hamas does not have 40 Israeli hostages

Hello and I welcome you all at Global affairs, recently some major developments happen in Israel philistin conflict. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday, an undisclosed date has been set for a ground offensive on the southern Gaza city of Rafah. And "today, I received a detailed report on the talks held in Cairo", the Israeli leader said in Jerusalem. "We are working relentlessly To achieve our goals, first and for most the release of all our hostages and achieving a complete victory over Hamas.

After this statement, it is become clear that Israel will not stop It's operation and he also said that this victory requires entering Rafah and wiping out the terrorist battalions there, this will happen, there is a date set for this.

Why US is worried due to this developments?

Seeing all these developments, the US is quite worried because recently Iran has threatened that 'if Israel does not ceasefire than Iran will soon attack Israel'.

After this it was seen that Israel closed its more than 25 embassy including India for the time, and also start calling back it's troops from the southern part of Gaza. but now it is being said that Israel has said that they (Hamas) do not have 40 hostages, it is believe that they have killed 40 hostages. after this Israeli prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the date of attack in Rafah has been fixed.

After seeing all these developments the US immediately rebuked netanyahu. Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said- 'we have  been very clear that we do not support the operation in rafah'.

Ceasefire talks in Cairo over the weekend involved officials from Israel, Hamas and Qatar, along with US Central Intelligence Agency chief William Burns.

After talks on ceasefire and Hostage release as well as threats of extended war, US President Joe Biden wants Netanyahu about the possibilities of a change in US support for Israeli war efforts, Bidens  main fear behind this is that, due to Israel aggressive nature this war may spread to the Middle East because we all know that the Middle East is an oil rich reason and if there is a war than the price of oil in the world will increase very rapidly. and the world economy will have to bear the brunt of it.

that is why Biden demanded that Israel immediately allows more humanitarian aid in the war zone to help the hungry Palestinians and empower his negotiators to reach an immediate ceasefire.

Let's  hope that Israel will now halt its attacks and move towards ceasefire and will not take military action in Rafah. Because it is also important for Israel to stop this war because it is being set that more than 33000 people have lost their lives in this war.

Thanks for reading.
