Joe Biden is considering supporting several reforms in supreme court.

The plans include proposals to legislate for an enforceable code of conduct or set term limits for judges.

Recently, US media sources have started reporting that Joe Biden is considering supporting several reforms in supreme court.

In these reforms they will including ending lifetime appointments to the US Supreme Court. This includes legislation to establish an updated code of conduct, which would be binding and enforceable.

The most important of which is that the tenure of judges would be determined. However, making any kind of change in the above context would be difficult in a divided Congress.

Recently, American media sources have reported that on Saturday, Biden told Democrats on a call that he is working with experts on Supreme Court reforms, which will be announced soon, although he did not elaborate much on these changes during this time.

Questions have also been raised about ethics in the High Court in the past several years, with some High Court judges taking luxury car's from Republican Party billionaire leaders against their ethics.

However, Democrats will face a big challenge in passing any reforms through a divided Senate and Republican-controlled House of Representatives.

Under current rules, it would require 60 votes to pass in the Senate. Constitutional amendments require even higher hurdles, including two-thirds support of both houses, or by convention of two-thirds of the states, and then approval by three-fourths of state legislatures.

However details of Biden's policies have not yet been made public. A White House spokesman declined to comment.

Thanks for reading.
